Pinterest’s newest feature lets you verify your website on Pinterest so you get a verified tick next to your link. Having your website verified is a completely new thing to the social media world,YouTube is the only site that has lets you verify your website out of the top ten social media sites. I thought that Pinterest would go down the same route as Twitter and Google+ with verified accounts but this will probably be available in the future. If your website is running WordPress and cPanel then you can follow me simple guide below to get verified on Pinterest but if it’s not I would suggest you contact your website designer and ask them to verify it for you.
How to get verified on Pinterest?
1. Go to your Pinterest settings
2. Scroll down until you see your website URL next to it clicking the verify website button
3. Now you should be on this page download the HTML verification file
4. Once downloaded login into your cPanel
5. Click on Legacy file manager then select document root then click go
6. Click on upload files and upload the HTML file you’ve just downloaded and click upload
7. Go back to your Pinterest and click to complete process and you’ve just verified your website on Pinterest
